My name is Edith Lawson and I live in Cornwall in the southwest of England. I am a GCCF registered breeder. I adhere to the breed standard for maine coons and breed for quality not quantity. The Maine Coon breed was first registered in the USA therefore all pedigrees must originate from there, not Europe or Russia.
About us? Our story, like many others, began with love at first sight. A majestic Maine Coon named Leonardo stole our hearts, and from that moment on, our lives would never be the same.
It all started when our daughter decided to take the first step, and soon, our home was blessed with a beautiful snow-white Maine Coon kitten named Vivien. This was the spark that ignited our passion. What began as a simple love for these magnificent cats soon grew into a full-fledged dedication to breeding and raising the finest Maine Coons.
At Edith Cattery, everything revolves around the care and well-being of our cats. We’re committed to continuously learning, from taking specialized courses to staying updated with the latest in feline care and breeding techniques. We aim to improve and expand our cattery, ensuring that every cat and kitten receives the utmost attention, love, and care.
We carefully select the best breeding pairs, ensuring that each litter is born healthy and happy. Every kitten is raised with love and affection, prepared for their new homes where they’ll bring joy to their new families. Seeing the happiness of our kittens’ new owners is the most rewarding part of what we do.
